Connecting UK homeowners with tradespeople
A web application where homeowners post building and home projects (kitchens, bathrooms and more) and tradespeople propose for and take on the work. Separate login flows for each user type.

Make it easy to post a project and match it with the right trader.
The Approach
Built role-based routing with the Next.js App Router and styled the interface with Tailwind CSS.
Used React Query for API integration, caching and state sync.
Created reusable components and Framer Motion animations shared across both flows.
The Result
A complete UI and API-integrated front end, ready for backend completion.
Challenge
Designing two distinct experiences (homeowner and trader) in one codebase with clean routing, shared components and API-driven state.
Outcome
Delivered the full UI layer: screens, routing, animations, reusable components and API integration, in the final months at MAI. Still in development.
