Production e-commerce site for MAI Corporation, serving 70k+ users. I led frontend work, improved performance and added Three.js-based 3D components.

The Goal
Make a high-traffic store fast and smooth for 70k+ users.
The Approach
Audited theme.liquid and removed unneeded code and repeated scripts.
Replaced external dependencies with lightweight custom components.
Introduced Three.js 3D components where they added value.
The Result
Noticeably faster pages and a higher Lighthouse score. [EDIT: add numbers]
Challenge
The site was slow and laggy with a low Lighthouse score. I traced it to bloat in the main theme.liquid file, repeated scripts and heavy external packages.
Outcome
Removed unnecessary code and duplicate scripts and replaced external packages with custom-built components, giving faster loads and a better Lighthouse score. [EDIT: add before/after score]
